qustions about ASP crank pulley(need feedback)

                i need to here from you guys who are only running the crank
pulley,,,,not the alt. What was the effect on charging? heard about a guy
with the crank and alt
saying his voltage dropped from 15 to 14 while driving and to 12 at idle.
With just the crank is the effect just as great? Thanks in advance.
