Bernd,

How exactly does that go? I own a 97 and am VERY happy with it. I have
had very minor problems with it, once I found a dealer who was honest,
they were fixed promptly. This truck is just a strong and more
powerful, thanks to a few mods, as the day I bought it. As new models
are concerned, Dodge did their homework, as did I when I bought it.
Dodge tested and tested this truck. I was very impressed with the
development testing I read about in mags. That was one reason I did not
worry to much about buying this "new truck" in its "first" model year.
Dodge has been making trucks for many years. I trust experience over
technology. Now Toyota on the other hand. How long have they been
making trucks? Not as long as any of the "Big 3". That is why I will
never buy a foreign truck. So the Tundra will kick some of our butts.
At least we will look good when we lose. One part to winning is STYLE.
I don't mind losing when I pull up next to the guy I lost to and he says
"wow, that is a nice truck." Heck, I have lost to the little V6 Tacoma
SR5. (This was when the truck was stock) Toyota can make a good
engine, but that is not all there is to a truck. I wonder how solid and
well made the truck feels off road, or even on road. I did not mean to
aim this directly at Bernd, I am just sticking up for my Baby. I am now
getting off my soap box. You all may start throwing flaming arrows if
you wish. Have a nice night!

Ryan,
97, CC, 5.2L, 5spd, 4x2
