If I have made mods to my engine like modified TB, K&N FIPK, Leach
Headers, Crower Roller-Rockers, Jacobs Ignition, Gibson exhaust, etc...
would a torque converter help me get the extra HP to the tires? I know
torque converters are unique to each application depending on vehicle
weight, HP, etc... but that's about all I know about them. Not very
knowledgable on this subject. I was told once that the extra HP wouldn't
help much without a new torque converter.
Anyone out there have any opinions on torque converters and would
getting an aftermarket converter be worth the money?
TIA.
