There is a "handling" difference between the 4WD and 2WD, obviously, but
other than that, there isn't really any difference. If you're looking at
the gas mileage factor, if you're not in 4WD( High or Low), the mileage
should be very close...if not the same as the 2WD. Of course the 4WD has a
one big advantage over the 2WD when it comes to mud, snow, flooding, beach
trips, camping trips...well...you get the point. It all depends on what you
really want to do with the truck. From the factory though, they are a
little sluggish...that's why there's the DML.

If all your looking for though is a HotRod Truck (Lowered, excellent
handling, 1/4 mile...) stick with the 2WD. (And i'll smack ya silly if you
lower a 4WD.) heheheeh..... ;)

Personally I originally wanted the 4WD but decided on the 2WD for "monetary"
reasons....at that time. Of course I fixed that problem in the mean time.
