I dumped money into it and LOST ~10 hp. But, I would have bet my paycheck on
the fact that it gave more power. It did have better throttle response but I
did a before and after dyno and found the results alarming. They guy running
the dyno mentioned a fellow with a viper did the same thing and lost hp.

This is a very possible outcome... A computer reprogram could make your BIG
TB play much nicer with the rest of the engine (ie you will gain back that
HP). 52mm is a bit big for 318 with only "bolt on" performance goodies!
(and a bit big for a 360 too!) Gotta love the "lurch off the line" when they
remove the variable "venturi" valving in the stock as cast config!!
