   Ahh, that would explain it then. The FSM called it a cam position sensor,
which is what threw me off.

  Thanks; don't bother on the P/N though; I already got one today. I
probably paid too much ($39) but I was at the dealer and I didn't feel like
driving around, so I "paid the man". ;-) I installed it in the parking
lot. I haven't had a chance to do any "non-city" driving, so I don't know
if it has affected any of the other problems yet, but the truck did seem
to start better, and seems to run a bit smoother? (could be just a
placebo effect)
