I agree with ya on that. Too much can cause the same effects as not
enough. I found (in my application) that the ignition, chip, plugs, wires,
exhaust, and TB all work well together. However, I didn't go overboard
with the TB (i.e: V8 TB on a V6...or 52mm bores) which gave the truck a
noticeable gain in HP, TQ, and MPG.

I've heard that others on the DML have installed the V8 TB's (and Modified
TB's w/52mm bores) that have suffered either HP numbers (on the Dyno) or
slower ET's in the 1/4.

I do see performance problems with the truck (not only mine, but also a
co-workers '98 5.2L) during hotter than normal days which tells me that the
engines don't like running too hot. This may be slightly corrected with
Cold Air boxes, Ram Air systems that pickup the cooler air from underneath
the front cowl, or Phenolic Blocks/Spacers.
