9" cone with 3" id. Used tie wraps to hold it in place and no PVC. Used a
heat resistant polymer.

Hey to all the folks who made their PVC piping intake. what cone K&N filter

did you use? how big? what's the diameter of the opening and what's the
diameter of the opening on the hat? also, some people say they modified the

hat by taking the spider out? how did you do that?
Final question. how did you put support brackets in? or did u just leave it

to the hat to hold it up?
