The Jet Stage-2 Chip is NOT emissions legal. Granted it doesn't constitute
voiding the warranty, but in CA (and some of the other states) you'd fail
the visual.

I'd like to know who the hell told u that it voids warranty. I have the
paper RIGHT here. this is what it says:

The product for which this document was issued is emission-sensitive and is
subject to vertain federal and state regulations; the manufacturer has
assigned an identification color code designation its intended use.
<code GREEN (1)>

The product accompanying this document has been gauranteed a California Air
Resources Board (ARB) exemption, an "EO" number, or is a direct or
consolidated replacement part. It is 50-state legal, per the manufacturer's
application guide

<BACK SIDE>
The installation and use of this product does NOT void the new-vehicle
warranty or should it be cause for the vehicle to fail an emissions test.
Notify the product manufacturer if either of these situations occur. If you
are unable to adequately resole either situation with the vehicle
manufacturer, you may contact the EPA at 202-233-9040. If the vehicle
manufacturer fails to honor emission-warranty claims, or the Federal Trade
Commission (FTC) at 202-326-3128, if the federal protection is denied.

hehe. have fun reading
