Hate to be the one to say it, but why do they have to mess with a "good
thing"? (DC that is.)

The 3.90 gears may be a good alternative fix for you though. (Costs about
$500 parts & labor).

As an earlier post today mentioned, the new A518 trans are not as efficient
as
the older 727 and 904s. Something to do with progress!
Spoke to DC, racing guys, MPP and they said the same thing, the newer
electronically controlled (computer) trans just isn't as efficient. Only
option
is to put a torque converter ($400 plus install) in trans. Change the rear
to
3.92 diff and try that. Am in the process now of doing that. First want to
get
more hp out of the engine with a few more mods and experimenting.

not off my mney tree. it is brown and withering anyway.
