It also comes with an inline (metal) screen to prevent that (The blades are
some sort of high-strength plastic anyway.)

You should've seen what Vortec did to a Mustang 5.0 engine when it let loose
and put parts in the oil pan. (This happened at Charlie's Mustangs in SJ,
CA several years ago....that's why we only installed Paxtons at that time.)
