Dak Body style change...what year?

With all the Dak talk, I was wondering when the Daks chnaged body styles.
I'm told that the 98 and 99 are almost identical....so mod instructions for
one would probably work for the other. I just wanted to know where the line
was, so I know if a particular modification is applicable for my 99 Dak V6
