in/lbs per foot conversion

Couldn't find an in/lbs wrench to save my hide today..
Intake manifold was to be torqued to 144 in/lbs...
So was my redneck reasoning of 12in/ft correctly
convert that 144in/lbs to the 12ft/lbs I torqued the
manifold to??
