Hmmmmm... I get the hiss on start-up but it stops as soon as it reaches
operating temp. I always thought it was the IAC motor kicking in on start-up
and when the A/C is going.
If it never stops and you don't have the A/C on it must be something else.
Remember that the A/C compressor is working in almost all the modes (in which
case you'll get the hiss) except off. As a test, turn the air system off and
see if it quits once the engine warms up.
