Chili recipie

For all of you that got a might hungry from all this cooking talk, here a=
re
the makings for Gene's 1st place chili from a few years ago. This was
intended to be cooked in the out of doors, but it will work inside as wel=
l.
You folks on CA can substitute tofu for the Armadillo meat......LOL

Recipe By : Gene Rivers
Serving Size : 20 Preparation Time : 1 case of beer

  Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
     1/2 pound Bacon -- with fat
   2 pounds Texas 1015 onions -- chopped fine
   5 tablespoons New Mexican red chili powder
   2 tablespoons Cajun Chef Cayenne powder
   4 whole Jalapenos -- stems and seeds
     1/2 cup New Mexican green chilies
   1 whole Red New Mexican chile pod
   1 pound Jalapeno deer sausage
     1/4 cup Tabasco sauce
   1 teaspoon Hungarian hot paprika
   3 pounds Roma tomatoes -- crushed
   1 tablespoon Mexican oregano
  16 ounces T-bone steak -- chopped fine
   5 pounds Ground chuck
   1 1/2 cups Water
  12 ounces Lone Star beer
   2 teaspoons Salt
   1 1/2 cups Bell pepper -- chopped
   1 tablespoon Garlic, in oil -- chopped
   2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
   1 tablespoon Sugar -- raw
   5 tablespoons Cumin -- ground
   1 pound Armadillo meat -- fresh

Fry the bacon in a large cauldron, add the onions, saut=E9ing until soft.=
 Add
the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Allow fire to burn down =
to
coals and simmer while you and a friend drink the 23 Lone Stars that are
left.

Dak content..........you kill the armadillo with your Dakota!
