Subject: DML: Please Help
I recently wrote a thread that was "To R/T or not to R/T" well I
finally decided I wanted to go Dak. But my dad (who is helping pay for half
of the vehicle) said he wanted me to look (read: choose) a Toyota Tacoma.
So I went down to the local dealer and looked at it. Wow, $25K+ for less
vehicle. I get a V-6, alloy wheels, extended cab and the TRD package.
There is a Dodge dealer that has a '99 Black CC R/T with all of the toys for
$27K. My Boss, who happens to be my girlfried's uncle, knows the owner of
the dodge dealership well as they are both car dealers. So I can probably
get the R/T for the same price as the Tacoma. But my dad is pretty bent on
Toyota (we have three of them now including the '89 Camry I drive.) So what
I am asking the list to do is help me put together a solid argument for the
R/T over the Tacoma. I would greatly appreciate it.

If you want a V8 and Daddy insists upon a Toyota, have a look at the Tundra.
Decide for yourself which is the better truck.
