Well. i bought a cap and rotor for my dakota for quite a while and since it
was sunny out today. i decided since i had nothing to do so i installed it.
question:
does anyone with a 97 or newer dakota v6 notice that when you give it gas
(when the engine has just started up or hasn't really heated up yet) it
takes a second for the RPM gauge to move and the engine to roar? also takes
a lil time for it to get back down?
after replacing my cap and rotor... i noticed that it cured this.
is there an explaination on why?
is this a cheap performance gain? or am i just hoping at it too much?
otherwise. i think everyone on the list can afford $11.12 at o'reily's for a
borg warner cap and rotor?!?
