life in the big Ram

well, as some of you may know, my Dak is in the body shop. So, I have a
rental... a big Ram. Brand new, 99' Ram with a 318 and a slushbox.
3.55SG, SLT. Well, here is the verdict. Magnum vs. Premag....

the magnum comes on strong after 3500 RPMs, and pulls hard, but it still
falls on it's face on the upshift. Gobs of torque!

The premag is more consistant. It pulls the same all the way through the
power band, but... it don't pull like the Magnum does. That's the
magnum's advantage over the premag... where the premag just keeps on
chuggin', the magnum comes on stronger and walks away. Now I know why I
keep gettin' spanked by that dude in the mag 6er. (that and the fact that
he has 3.92 SG to my 3.55 slip-n-slide).

The Ram is NICE, but it's not my dak....

the ram takes off like it got hit in the back. I can only imagine how an
R/T must launch.. (drool drool)

well, that's one man's opinion on the big Red Ram

hopefully I'll get my dak back soon... gettin' a whole new paint job...
I'm stoked!
