No limb here... I have no doubt some can handle it (like you) all I know is
more horsepower would have meant more trouble for me growin-up! :-) I wish I
could say otherwise, but my nose would grow if I did. Hehehe.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and disagree with most of you - my first
ride(the one
I learned to drive in & drove throughout High School) was a '67 Plymouth Fury VI
P (3700
lbs.) with a 383 big-block V8. I think my 'early-on' training with all that pow
er helped
me to learn to respect that power and be better able to control it. I quickly l
earned
things like 'throttle-on' oversteer at a young age and was able to more quickly
adapt and
learn my driving style during my 'formative' years.
OTOH, I lived out in the backwoods (2 miles to nearest highway, 11 miles of grav
el roads
into school), so I learned most of my driving skills on gravel. Once you take t
hose to
pavement, you are amazed at what you can do with a little traction
:)
