Unfortunately I will not be able to make any DML meets until the baby is born. Pat is having some major difficulties and she is on strict bed rest. This might last until the baby is delivered. We had a major scare last week and she ended up in the hospital for 6 days. The doctors are threatening that she might return to the hospital and stay there until she delivers in November. Either way she needs to remain in bed and I have to take care of the half pint. I know everyone will have fun and please have a drink for me.

To all that were interested in a Cape Cod Mass meet:

Please let me know if the weekend of August 7th works for everybody. The way
Karen and I are planning on playing it is to drive down on Friday night (the
6th) and leave sometime Sunday afternoon (the 8th).

*IMPORTANT* Let me know what your pleasure is for accommodations
(Hotel/Motel/Camping) if you plan on staying for a night or two... I'm planning
on camping down there at either Nickerson State park in Brewster or the Audubon
Society camping area in Wellfleet. Accommodations can be difficult so I'll
start calling around as soon as I know how many/what you want.

If you want to see a couple of shots of driving on the beach, surf to:

I figure Saturday will be the big day on the beach and we can bring pretty much
whatever we want (grills, coolers, volleyball nets, whatever). I'm sure we will
also take turns cruising the beaches!

Temporary oversand vehicle permits are sold at the ranger station at Race Point.
I'll need at least one other person with a 4x4 to attend to help haul people
(I'll take the provisions as I've got a cap on my Kota). I figure we will just
split the cost of the permit equally amongst all if there is no objection. I'll
have to check but I think it was pretty cheap... Mine only cost like $70 for
the entire summer/fall.

Anyway, I'm getting excited about this just typing it so let me know who's in as
soon as you can!

P.S. I hope to see a lot of the "Foxwoods Gang" again! :-)
