Well, I personally wouldn't have taken it since I was riding MotorCycles
instead. I had turned down a car...didn't want it...not fast enough. ;)
But honestly answering that question, I wouldn't.
They should all start out with something simple and without a lot of power.
What my Dad had done for me was send me to the Bob Bondurant School at Sears
Point (many many year ago) to "learn" how to properly drive a car when
finally decided to drive a car. Heck, I only had a Class-M license from age
15 until 20...can't do that anymore though.
