To those without A/C

I have been wondering to all of those without A/C, does the cold air usually
feel a little warmer than the outside air. I would assume it is taking in
outside air and the engine might heat it up a little. I have noticed,
especially after this weekend of heat, that the air is hot when I have my
setting on cold air. Any ideas?
