No he's talking about the carrier bearing ,dak driveshafts are 2 piece with a
short section from trans to the bearing,then a section from bearing to
differential.
And yes if the rubber bushing is deteriorated it will bounce all over in the
outer housing,replace it before you do some serious damage to the rear end or
tranny.
