I have the 6x9 power on my 98 CC, they work fine on my 22ft. trailer,
however my trailer is a lite and only 7ft wide, I don't think they would
work as well on a full 8ft. wide trailer.
On my other truck I used the extention mirrors that clamped, rubber strap,
on over my stock mirrors and they worked fine, did not cost very much
either.
If you want to spend the money I saw some electric mirrors at the truck
works that look stock but push a button and they extended out up to a foot
and are adjustable, cost about $300.
