Naah... This doesn't disappoint me. I figure if I unloaded the 200-300lbs of
junk I had in the back I would have dropped a couple of tenths but I wanted to
see what it would do as I normally drive it. I assume yours is a club cab 4x4
to make the comparison somewhat valid --or at least a 4x4??

The funny thing was I saw a lot of 4x2 pick-ups with no cap and nothing in the
bed that were slower than I was... That had to hurt! :-)

Not to disappoint you even more. but my 97 dakota v6 runs 17.4s. It's a
automatic. 3.55 gears, ported TB, K&N gen 2 a like, electrical fans, jet 2
chip, dynomax catback, astrojet pluse and VERY soon to be. 3.90 gears, and
an e-ram
-Dester

when racing at the time of 17.4s. I didn't have the K&N gen 2 look alike on
there. it was 10" air cleaner assembly, and the astrojet wasn't on there
either.
