I don't think you will need clip on tow mirrors with the 6x9 mirrors. I have the 6 x 9s and let me tell you, they are huge. If you are facing the right direction, you can see ET scratching itself on Mars.

According to the dealer the only 6x9's available are power. This would
require the mirrors, plus wiring harness(es), plus installation since I
would trust my electrical installation abilities -- at least while the
truck is under warrantee. It would probably come to several hundred
dollars which is a lot more than I can spend.
Ironically, if I had the 6x9's I could easily get clip on tow mirrors for
them.

Thanks,
Jack

Why don't you get the factory 6x9 mirrors? I'm don't tow so maybe
they're just too small. Just a suggestion from someone who
doesn't know.
