Jack:
I have a 14 TT and the 6x9's are fine for towing. But, it is 7 feet
wide, so I have no problems seeing around it. If you're towing a 8
ft. wide unit, you may have problems. I also tow my 16 ft boat and
can see around it fine.
The 6x9 factory mirrors are $300.00 (can), plus installation.
Too bad you didn't order them with your truck, they are much cheaper
as an option.
