Don't laugh so loud...my mom has cleaned the house windows like that since I
can remember. Not a streak or stain on them (35 years old to boot!)
Vinegar and Water work wonders on glass.

Try rubbing with a piece of crumbled-up newspaper. Then,
try cleaning with a mixture of vinegar (1 part) and water (3 parts).
