Gary,
I believe that you're thinking of the NV3500 that they use with the V8.
Christopher's V6 uses an AX-15 transmission. The recommended fluid for that
is any 75W90 gear lube (just changed mine a couple of months ago).
Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice for the problem. I've noticed that
the 2-3 shift is a bit stiff sometimes, but it seems to be just in the
mornings when it hasn't had a chance to wake up yet.
