I'm going to do the same drop, and the Hotchkis kit is looking the best.
it's a 2" spring up front, 3" leaf in back, plus 2 new swaybars
($161,302,500 respectively). Normally I wouldn't go with springs (would
prefer spindles, since they preserve all the full travel, but those will
grind on the 15" wheels (need 17s first)), but this seems to be a
well-thought out kit, and comes with smaller bump-stops, so most of the
suspension travel is retained. Cost on this kit is kinda high, at
approximately $1300 including replacement shocks, but it would give peace
of mind knowing the job was done right.
