The only think i can think of to NOT buy a thunderform (but requires a LOT of
know how) is to remove the 2 back side panels, and instead of using 6.5 inch
speakers. cut a hole out, make a box and mount the subs in there. This
would be a great setup, but it'd require a lot of time, and if you screw up.
uh oh.....
as for the Cerwin Vega 6x9s? i though dodge dakotas only had 6.5 inch
oversized speakers in the rear. 5.25 for Regular Cabs. I guess you could
cut the hole to make it fit.. but again. there's the know how and time

PS. have you considered the MTX thunderform? it's a custom molded subwoofer
box for the 97-up dodge dakotas. selling for 220 bucks right now. it
replaced the tool box under the seat and relocated the a jack to the middle
of the box.
<< here, here(like me too!). i've heard that cerwin vega 6x9's are a good buy
to replace the rear speakers in a club cab dakota. what do you think?
also trying to figure out how to fit a box & still seat 2 in the cab.
possibly two eclipse 10's, cause they don't need much airspace. any ideas?
