With the Gen II you remove the entire stock setup. The kit comes with a new
air-hat/power tube all in one molded heavy plastic piece with the 7" cone
filter at the end (of course). Then there is this fabricated sheet metal
piece that the tube goes thru that makes the new box by secluding the engine
compartment from the filter and uses the hood of the truck as the top of the
box and the inner fender as the bottom. This leaves the only open in the
box being the front of the engine compartment to the left of the radiator
(lookng in). They also include a filter charger kit.
