You can try .050" but with a stock coil, .045" should be the max. (You can
try the higher gap though)

Subject: DML: MSD IGNITION!!! SOME ADVICE PLEASE!!

Im buying an MSD 6A ignition box. Just the box, cause the box is
what really makes the power. Also i only have 8,399 miles on my truck, and
don't want to change my wires, plugs, and coil. When you buy an Msd
set(BOX,WIRES, COIL),they
recommend you gap the plugs .50-.60 What if i only buy the Box,should i
still gaop the plug higher? or leave the gap stock? What is the best gap
when buying the set?
SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS , BUT i WANT TO KNOW BEFORE i BUY>
  THANKS!!!!!!!!!!
