I installed the MSD 6A only on my '99 Dak V-8 and did just the box and
plugs gapped to .053. Seemed to give me better acceleration and
throttle response. Mileage did not change. Stock gap was .044
and did not notice any differences at those settings with the MSD.
Im buying an MSD 6A ignition box. Just the box, cause the box
is
what really makes the power. Also i only have 8,399 miles on my truck,
and
don't want to change my wires, plugs, and coil. When you buy an Msd
set(BOX,WIRES, COIL),they
recommend you gap the plugs .50-.60 What if i only buy the Box,should
i
still gaop the plug higher? or leave the gap stock? What is the best
gap
when buying the set?
SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS , BUT i WANT TO KNOW BEFORE i BUY>
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!
