Well, I'm back from vacation and it was a fun 1.5 weeks in the R/T. I
actually hit 19 mpg!! Woo, hoo! I had a goal of 18.5, but was I every
happy to see 19. I had been getting over 17 most of the way, and on a
fairly easy stretch, at 60 mph, sometime with the a/c on, and with
full-throttle passes occasionally, I got the 19. On my travels
through Jasper to Saskatchewan and back through Calgary (Ryan and
Jeremy, if I had more time, I would have called you guys) and Banff, I
saw a ton of Dakotas and Durangos. Mostly Sports and SLTs. Only saw 3
R/Ts, and one was pulling a tandem axle camper! The R/T was great
through the mountains. Curiously though, my buddy who was travelling
with us has a 99 ZR2 Blazer, and his odometer read about 5% higher
than mine. Either mine is low or his is high. Weird. Anyway, he got
about 3 mpg better than me, but couldn't keep up the long steep grades
without going into SECOND! I never went out of 4th! Now I'm trying to
get through hundreds of DML and R/T list emails. Nice to be back (to
     the list that is).
