Now Bruce... we had this discussion several months ago... I'm talking an
"add-on" mod to either a stock TB or an improved one on a stock intake, and
here you go totally changing the rules of engagement... ^_^

As I recall the conversation, the best idea is individual TB's for each
cylinder with matching O2 sensors on the exhaust out and the computer monitors
each cylinders efficiency, adjusting each one independently. Like you say,
this would be a totally custom computer application, you could probably whack
"Intel Inside" on the side of the car that actually had a mod like this since
a custom chip would cost WAY too much to make for this application. On the
plus side, you could probably get as close to a perfect burn as is
technologically possible. That would make the smog folks happy. I'd love to
see a system like this set up to run nitrous and/or a blower. Since it's all
custom programmed anyway, you could put large enough injectors in to dump in
plenty of fuel. Now the trick is to keep the heads on the block... ^_^ (BOOM!
Well, there goes another one... NASA's gonna get pissed if we keep orbiting
these things!)

Shaun,
How about the old Six Pack idea! When the suction is up, the additional TBs
start to kick in. Not enough MAP signal, No addtional TBs...Stepper
controlled TB WOT stops with a MAP and TPS based PID controller... The mind
reels in the simplicity... Whos gonna code it? Any PIC microprocessor
coders out there? It just takes time and money...
