which 318 and 360? the old carb versions, the premagnums, or the magnums?

The heads were different on the old carb versions, and I think on the
premagnums, but they are the same on the magnums... the 360 has a longer
stroke (3.58 vs 3.31) and a larger bore (4.00 vs 3.91), and the older
versions are externally balanced (requires special harmonic balancer and
flexplate), but I think the Magnums are all internally balanced now.

There are some websites out there with info.. try http://www.allpar.com
