Ted:
   Using 31.5's and 3.55 rearend gears as the baseline, switching to 32"
tires and 4.10 gears will give you an "effective" ratio of 4.04. Using 32"
tires and 4.30's gives an effective ratio of 4.23.
    Explaining just a little - this means that if Ted put on the 32" tires
and the 4.10 gears, the overall ratio is the same as if he still had the
31.5" tires and had installed an imaginary set of 4.04:1 gears. Hope this
