Dester,
Indexing is where you use washers of varying thicknesses on each plug so
that the electrode of each plug is pointing in the same direction. I did
this on my 5.2L; all of the "gaps" face straight up where the injectors
spray down directly into the gap. It takes a little time to index all
the plugs since you may have to try several different washer
combinations to get the indexing correct on each plug.
