I am new to this list and I am looking for some information. I have a '98
Dakota with a 5.2 and an open (non-posi) differential in it. I really need to
get a sure-grip (posi) unit for either a whole axle or just the differential
assembly. Mopar sells the assembly for $245 and claims it will work on any
year 8 1/4 axle. Has anyone done this installation or something similar. Any
insight would be appreciated.
