Philip, sorry to hear about your Dad. I can't believe the roads in NV are
that bad. How do you put up with that? I thought the roads on LI NY were
bad. Have you ever thought of moving or at least buying a tank? Take it
easy, Take care, and be safe.

Putting the Tourist aside. Them I understand. I would have to Say LAS VEGAS
By a long shot. Living here 10 years I have seen more accidents than else
were.
On the way to work everyday i see at least 4 or 5 potential accidents on the
road but none happen. And when they do they always cause more by
rubberneck's. If You see one you will see another one shortly.
{Put aside the fact that my father was killed by a sober driver who wasn't
paying attention to the road. Ran into my dad on a motorcycle(at a
standstill for traffic in front of him on the expressway at over 35 MPH,
launched my dad over the car in front of him and landed between the two
cars.}
One i was involved in, I was Stopping for traffic in front of me(accident
about 1/4 mile in front of me) on the Highway, I came either to a stop or
near stop(can't remember) Had about 5-10 feet in front of me for clearance.
This lady runs into my Dak at over 25 mph. I was unhurt front end of her
Buick was toasted. Did almost 10k in damage to my truck. They had to put a
new bed on. Frame straightening took about 20 hrs of time to get it right.
I didn't have my truck for 2 months. Finally after getting it all fixed, I
had the truck back 3 whole days and smo other stupid person ran into me.
Causing about another 1K damage to the front end. Another month in the body
shop.
I have been saying that the drivers here are the worst, Problem is
Percentage WISE 85+% of the people here NEVER LEARNED TO DRIVE HERE. They
are front New York, LA, Bumsville anywhere, and are driving the style of
where ever they are from. The county doesn't work on the lights here AT ALL.
I leave the office at midnight to head home and still have to wait on
Lights, (over 2 minutes sometimes with no traffic on the road at all). The
roads here suck, luckily i have the clearance and suspension to handle them.
If you have ever driven here you would see that drivers/driving in this town
suck. I go to LA several times a year and have maybe 20% the problem i have
here.

Ok let's all throw out our opinions about where the worst drivers are from.
Me personally, i say Michigan (centered in Detroit). I'm from Windsor
(across the river from the big "D") and we get a lot of traffic from these
nut jobs. On my side of the border it can be blamed on the fact that they
don't know where the hell thewy're goin (one lady asked me which way to
Toronto, she was going for lunch). So fine they don't where they're goin,
well what about stateside? I was goin to Detroit Metro airport to pick
someone up early (6:30 am). I look over to the left and see this guy drive
by me at like 80 m/h shaving and eating an egg Mcmuffin, presumably steering
with his knee. Now that's just a couple of interesting stories i've got
tons more but i've tyoed enough.
So let me here it, where are the worst drivers from?
Frank WJ
