     I once read an article about safe driving speeds, and in it they said
that it takes much more power to get your truck movin at 70+ then it would
to keep it at 55-60. much more as in +50% or somthing like that, just to
maintain the speed increase, due to some mass/speed ratio...you must forgive
me I am not a math major :) so that must mess up gas mileage also.

anyhow I am new to this list, my name is Jim and I live in the Akron area,
my truck is a white dakota sport 99...v6 all stock right now. Hopefully
that will soon change, especially after reading on how easy it is do some
some mods. (I am not a mechanic either)
