A boost/vacuum gauge should go somewhere on the intake manifold (Manifold
Vacuum preferred). This is where you'll see the actual boost...not in the
intake tube. (Could be wrong for the Powerdyne, but that's where the Paxton
Boost gauges used to go.)
I've got mine in the old IAT hold on the manifold.
