Another sheep to the following.......well it's about time! You think big
shots at DC are gonna deal with the general public...one by one or at all
for that matter? They tried to slide this towing issue under the carpet
like it was no big deal....hell yes it's a big deal....I got a truck that
can't even tow as much as most cars....now sell it to me for that price and
let me spend the extra money on another dak or ram! Thank you!

Subject: DML: I'm ready to sue Daimler-Chrysler...

After talking to about 5 different people on the phone over the last couple
months, I am very very pi$$ed off. (I even talked to the V-P of public
relations to no avail)

To put a long story short, D-C refuses to offer me ANYthing for the towing
issue.
They told me that because I bought my truck on March 31st, I am not even
elligible for the buyback.

THEY tell me that my owners manual was corrected to the 2,000 lbs towing
capacity...
But... it was not. I was completely misled by the sales brochure, and the
owners manual.

Also, nobody has ever ever contacted me on the issue. I have made all the
calls.. nobody ever returns my calls... I was never even contacted when D-C
originally noticed the towing error like they said they did in the news
article.

So, I am done playing Mister Nice guy. What can I do now? I'm willing to
play hardball.

Also.. in addition to the towing issue, I am very bitter about ordering what

the sales brochure said was 4 wheel ABS disc brakes. When my truck hit the
lot, I find out that that was another typo in the sales brochure, and there
IS 4 wheel ABS brakes, but only drum rears. We should add this to our
argument.
