I'm ready to sue Daimler-Chrysler...

After talking to about 5 different people on the phone over the last couple
months, I am very very pi$$ed off. (I even talked to the V-P of public
relations to no avail)

To put a long story short, D-C refuses to offer me ANYthing for the towing
issue.
They told me that because I bought my truck on March 31st, I am not even
elligible for the buyback.

THEY tell me that my owners manual was corrected to the 2,000 lbs towing
capacity...
But... it was not. I was completely misled by the sales brochure, and the
owners manual.

Also, nobody has ever ever contacted me on the issue. I have made all the
calls.. nobody ever returns my calls... I was never even contacted when D-C
originally noticed the towing error like they said they did in the news
article.

So, I am done playing Mister Nice guy. What can I do now? I'm willing to
play hardball.

Also.. in addition to the towing issue, I am very bitter about ordering what
the sales brochure said was 4 wheel ABS disc brakes. When my truck hit the
lot, I find out that that was another typo in the sales brochure, and there
IS 4 wheel ABS brakes, but only drum rears. We should add this to our
argument.
