All right. I have a premag V6...which has no Gen II FIPK by K&N
so I would have to make a homemade FIPK. The problem is that I want a
good airhat. My dads 98 has a small airhat and a square filter further
down the line. My 89 has an air intake tube running into a large airhat
housing a large thin round filter.
Could I have a custom airhat made? Are there GenII FIPKs for
premag V8s? Could I use one of these?
Should I just go for a 14x3?...B/C it would fit. If I do the
14x3, do I just leave it open or do I put it in an airbox?
Is making a FIPK really that much better than the 14x3
