My wife has the Sport 4x4 CC now, and at approx. 750 miles we won a
set of the Rancho RSX shocks. We put them on and immediately felt a
ride difference. Around town, and on the highway the truck is stiff
(similar handling to our RT) but comfortable. I took it over a speed
bump at 25 that I normally only hit at 5-10 mph... and the truck rode
like a Caddy... Offroad the new shocks have taken the wallow out of
75% of the medium/big bumps. The smaller stuff they are a little harsh
on, but I figure it's a happy medium.
I'd recommend them.

Subject: DML: Mushi Suspension
In honor of the recent Japanese language problems, I have a question about
my
mushi (translate to mushy) 4x4 suspension...
I never did like the Cadilac super soft, rubber ducky, floating like feel of
my
truck and I was curious if I can just swap out the shocks to cure it -or- do
I
have to improve the springs/other things too? I have a '98 4x4 CC BTW.
TIA!
Tom
P.S. No offense to any 3.9, 5.2, 5.9, R/T, R/C, Auto, Stick, 4x2, Long Bed,
pre-genIII and/or Japanese speaking Dakota owner that likes the soft
ride!...
Just my way of saying there all Daks, y'all. So, lighten the BLEEP up! :-)
