If it means anything, I found that the fuse for my 16" Hayden Electric Fan
was blown and only noticed it because the temp gauge was up around 200 - 210
degrees. No fan, 100 degree heat, and only the HD cooling package with a
70/30 mix (70% water).

Showed me how good the cooling system actually is. (And yes, I replaced the
fuse.)

Is your Dak overheating or something? If you keep up with normal
maintenance,
you really should not ever need to add sometype/anytype of additional
'cooling additives'.
I have towed a 3,500 pound boat in 95+ degree weather for 250+ miles one way
fishing trip and my temp needle never went past the 1/4 way mark on the temp
guage. In 109,000 miles, my stock cooling system also has never ever gone
past the 1/4 way mark on the guage. Regular maintenace for me includes
flushing the cooling system every 2 years and draining/filling the radiator
every year. At about 105,000 miles I replaced the stock thermostat, just to
see how it looked(it really did not even need to be replaced, but the tstat
gasket started to leak). I replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses(with
double hose clamps at each end) at 95,000 miles, just to be on the safe
side.
Hope this helps. I know the Watter Wetter is only like $6-$7, but I just do
not feel the need to use it.
