If you are into racing your Dakota (1/4-mi/oval/salom/etc.), then yes
it helps. Antifreeze does many necessary things for the coolant system
but it is a poor agent for wet heat transfer surfaces. Water is a
very good substance for quickly transferring heat. Water Wetter provides
the agents to fight rust, lube the water pump, and coat the walls of the
water jackets so that water doesn't cavitate on the walls.

Owners that have pure racing vehicles will use 100% water and water wetter.
A 100% street vehicle will use their recommended anti-freeze mixture
(50-50 in Ontario) and a bottle. Weekend racers but mainly street drivers
who use their a/c extensively will use a 75% water, bottle and rest anti-
freeze mix ... anti-freeze to prevent the core from freezing up during
extensive a/c use.

I use it because I go to the 1/4 track 2-3 times a month. I've have
noticed that water wetter, in combo with the 180 tstat, gets rid of
the heat a lot quicker than with the normal anti-freeze/water mix.
