Turbo doesn't make a difference. It really depends on your driving
conditions. Synthetic oil is very durable in your engine. It could probably
go 10000+ miles *IF* there were no contaminants. And there lies the problem;
it doesn't really matter how good the oil is if it is full of dirt, engine
wear particles and combustion by-products. Feed your engine the cleanest air
possible. Start with the manufacturer's recommendation and try to determine
your oil's condition to extend change intervals. An oil analysis would
confirm whether you waited to long or not.
